God's best.

I was supposed to remember to take a picture of one of my classes today. I tried to sneak one on my phone but it was all blurry and disappointing. Instead I chose this picture, because I feel like it portrays my class. A bunch of outspoken firecrackers trying to spread something great.

One day, I'm going to tell all of you why you can rest easier tonight due to the open-mindedness and all-encompassing love of your future social workers from BYU-Idaho. I am very grateful to be in classes with some of God's very best people.

But for now, I just want you to know that there is a girl who has gone through hell and back in childhood and has come out on top as one of the most cheerful people I have ever encountered. There is a soft-spoken man from a farming town in Idaho that can make you feel like you are doing everything right in life. There is a tiny woman who says what she wants and gets away with it because she is so honest and you secretly want her to say uninhibited, kind things about you. There are professors with cheesy jokes and paperspaperspapers who can reach down your throat, grab you by the heart, and remind you with encouragement and hope why you ever wanted to be a social worker in the first place.

They are God's best. And I am humbled to be among them.

I like to hear all of the beautiful things you have to say.
