I'm in Boise, but it might as well be heaven.
Also, today, I woke up to a subtle and silent flurry of snow in my picturesque neighborhood. I don't remember the last time I felt that at peace.
No picture was taken. It was personal moment between me and God's messenger, Mother Nature.
I haven't been with my family for about 3 months, and I forget sometimes just how therapuetic they are. I love my husband, but going back to my roots reminds me that I'm normal. That my personality came from somewhere other than my hormones, and that I should be proud and grateful for it. I think it reminds my husband of this, as well. That helps.
Anyway, yesterday was day 20: a photo of something you enjoy doing. I really love crafting, and last night I was up until 3:30am making the ornaments for my mom's annual "Lornament Party."* The fact is, I don't think I brought my camera cord, and so you'll have to wait until I get home to partake of the cuteness.
Meanwhile, I made this for my friend Liz for her Panache Package. I really love making mini-journals, but I love making custom ones for my friends even more :)
And for the record, TODAY is day 21: a photo of you standing up.
So there I am. Standing like a champion.
*This year's story and photo's coming up soon!
Rawr. Photo of you standing up like an Urban Sex Goddess! Or something...
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures! Such a pretty neighborhood and the mini journal is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI have often said Nampa is Nirvana. I love the Treasure Valley with all my heart. I've never lived in Boise but I already know I would love it there too. Boise IS a big sigh of relief.
