I Left my Heart in Boise, Idaho.

Tuesday, February 21, 2012

If you have known me for longer than 1 second, you know that I love Boise, Idaho. I love everything about it. I love the people, I love the neighborhoods, I love the weather. Mostly, I love my family. We got to spend time with them this weekend and I was just. so. happy. It's amazing what interacting with people who care about you will do to the soul.

Never underestimate the power of pizza, Costco, Boston Terriers, board games, or falling asleep with your mom in her bed while watching Anderson Cooper's new talk show.

I did not have a good drive back to Utah. I have become borderline murderous looking at the suitcase of dirty laundry waiting for me. I am walking around my empty basement apartment where we have no sunlight (and currently no food) and trying to figure out how to drastically change the circumstances of my life. You know your life is stuck when the only rational thing you can think to do to change it is dye your hair blonde.

I will seek happiness tomorrow.

Today, I will miss Boise.

  3. I left my heart somewhere, but I can't find it. Wish we knew where home was. Wow that sounded pathetic. How much longer until you can move back?

  4. Scott doesn't graduate until April of 2013 (!...grrr) and then it depends on if we can find a job in Boise for him. He promised me that that is the first place he will look though. The alternative is Seattle since there are a lot of jobs in his field up there.

I like to hear all of the beautiful things you have to say.
