I heard you had true grit.

I'm not going to lie- lately I have been really liking this little "blog vacation" I have been unofficially taking. But now, I feel like I want to spill everything on here but there's not tons and tons to spill.

Right now, Scott and I are in Boise kickin it with my family. We are walking around in our new clothes, playing video games, eating a lot and MOSTLY: watching movies. A Sylvester family tradition.

We saw True Grit last night. I could do a whole blog post just on how much I loved that movie. At the end, I wasn't hit with a powerful wave of "that was the most incredible thing ever." Instead, the movie has stuck in my head and the more I think about it, the more I want to see it again. I heard Barry Pepper describe it as a "Hillbilly Shakespeare" due to it's rythm and language. I agree with that.
Go see it.

  1. I'm glad for the recommendation. I saw the preview and wanted to see it but wasn't sure if I'd really enjoy it. But you helped me make up my mind. I will see it :)
