In Celebration

Today I am celebrating this guy:
Who will make one heck of a dad one day. I'm nervous if we have little girls though, because he really can't handle how cute our nieces are sometimes.

And today I'm celebrating this guy (on the right):
Who cracks me up. Scott is definitely his son. Which is why he's so great. He's really proud of all his kids, and says he learns a lot from them.

But most of all today, I'm celebrating this guy:
Who stepped into the little family of my mom and I when I was seven. I had no problem calling him daddy right away. And even though I was his new wife's difficult child at times, he loved me anyway. He is my dad in every since of the word and I don't know what I would have done without him in my life. He has raised a family strong in the gospel and always made sure I was up in time for school and early morning seminary. He makes the best cookies ever, and makes them often. He is the embodiment of service, and is always thinking about others.
