People have cars that break down.

Saturday, April 2, 2011

Today my car broke down. Just stalled at a light and wouldn't start again. I was with Scott (luckily) and we pushed it off the side of the road and tried to figure out what was wrong. Probably the timing belt, he mumbled. I guess. If you say so.

Then it started raining.

And you know what? Even though I KNOW that this stupid car will be in the shop on Monday and take up hundreds of dollars and I have no idea how I'm going to get to my internship, I'm not really that stressed out about it.

Because people's cars break down. Rain falls from the sky.
God is not singling me out for punishment.
I am not the first person this has happened to.
It's just life.

  6. By the time I was your age I could not count the times I had car problems and had to push my car. Feel blessed you haven't had too many. We are praying for it's quick and inexpensive recovery!
