So, I'm going to be honest. I feel slightly high-school making the collage of all my best friends. But today is day 13: a photo of your best friend(s) and I couldn't pick just one. And these aren't even all of them. They are just the ones that have really been there most recently- and I'm feeling all nostalgic about Rexburg at the moment and all of these people have ties there.
In no particular order:
From Top to Bottom, Left to Right:
-Scott. My husband. We're such best friends, we got married about it.
-My sister, Dani. The only person I can work-out with and not want to kill. I look up to her a lot. She's a genius.
-Anna. Because when someone knew you when you were 17, and STILL continues to be your friend... you got a bond that can't be broken.
-Mandy. My "in" to my biological family. My cousin, and my partner in crazy.
-Meredith. We appear so different, but we think so much alike.
-Amber and Lucas. They have to go together. Because Lucas and I were besties on our missions in Canada and then I met his wife and fell in love with her. Also, they invite us bowling.
-Lizanne. No one understands my thought process like Liz. The best upstairs neighbor you could ask for.
-Brandilyn. I am continually trying to copy her sense of style. And sense of reality.
-Darcy. Who is the mom/wife/friend I want to be when I grow up. And it doesn't hurt that she's always down for a little craft day with Oprah and a Diet Coke, either.
There you have it. Yesterday was supposed to be a picture of me, but you see enough of that. I hope that this photo thing isn't boring everyone... I usually loathe these 30 day challenges. But I have SO. MUCH. going on in my life right now, and I think it's all a bit too personal to spill out here. But I don't want to stop blogging either... sigh. I think we've all been here.
So yeah. Humor me for this month whilst I blog from a list. I don't have the energy to do it from the heart right now.
thanks, carrie! you make me feel so special. my sense of style is SO not worth copying :) & i know what you mean about feeling like you're in high school making a collage of your friends...i totally used to have one on the front of my binder.
ReplyDeleteI feel awesome to be in your friend collage. It was a major "TAKE THAT SUCKAS!" kind of moment. I appreciate it and love you.
ReplyDeleteDont move.
Aww... I love you! I am glad we share a brain/life/everything and that it was so easy to connect with a girlfriend after I hadn't really had any in my life for a while. I'm really going to miss you.
ReplyDeleteYour Gram use to say "You can have lots of friends but you only have one mother." It is good advice and I am the "best" one you got! Oh and Sheridan rubbed it in that she was on the list!
ReplyDeletealthough these were in no particular order... I still feel pretty good about being third considering i came after scott and sheridan. Im going to take that.
ReplyDeleteHello, mother! Of COURSE you couldn't be on this list! You surpass all of it!
